Hey y’all!

My name is Emily, owner/photographer here at Walk by Faith Photography. I’m so glad you’re here! I’ve always been the “picture taker” in my friend groups/ family. Also know as the one who can’t stop taking pictures of everything for five seconds. Memories have always had a special place in my heart for as long as I can remember. The sole purpose of starting this business was to capture memories for you & your families so that once those moments are long gone you’ll still have something to look back on; even when your gray & old… maybe even when you can’t remember who those people were that you spent those times with. Now, let me get sappy for a moment.. In 2018 as well as 2024 I lost two precious people who were both huge impacts in my life. I look back on the times I spent with them as a child and wish I had more photos to not only mentally remember those memories but visually remember them as well. My late great grandmother suffered with Alzheimer’s disease for several long years, it was extremely hard to watch her not know who I was and remember any of our great memories together. All she had to "remember" those moments were photos. With that being said, photography has always been a dream of mine. However, loosing those two angels led me to following through with this goal. Along side from this business I work two other jobs as a certified nursing assistant, I am also attending college full time to pursue yet another dream of becoming a registered nurse! I recently got engaged to my high school sweetheart, Shawn; we have two spoiled rotten fur babies together, Oakley & Charlie. I love new adventures! I am a JESUS SEEKER, I thank GOD each and every day for allowing me to have such amazing clients like you all. Without GOD; I know for a fact I would not be where I am today without him teaching and guiding me throughout this exciting journey.
